We are looking for a passionate PEOPLE & TALENT BUSINESS PARTNER to join our small but high impact team in our office in Singapore.

Tasks

  • Identify and close strategic capability gaps
  • Build Sygnum’s People and Talent function in close alignment with the CEO Switzerland, CEO Singapore and the Head People & Talent
  • Consult with Sygnum's leaders to create a comprehensive people plan to influence lasting change.
  • Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue. Design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond people and organizational solutions.
  • Provide expertise in the following areas: career planning,
    performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development.
  • Act as a People & Talent business partner to build the organization, roles and responsibilities.
  • Lead and execute the recruiting process including representing Sygnum at events
  • Screen and interview job candidates and be involved in hiring decisions
  • Lead and execute Sygnum People operations processes in Singapore including payroll and employee full lifecycle (from on-boarding to exit)
  • Facilitate implementation of strategic projects through proper change management
  • Ensure Sygnum culture is lived by all and tracking employee satisfaction
  • Lead People & Talent growth initiatives, such as training and development
  • Be responsible for overall functioning of office locations in Zurich and Singapore and manage relevant outsourcing partners

Requirements

  • First Leadership experience in a People & Talent or other relevant role
  • HR experience in organizational design, succession planning, performance management, diversity/inclusion, business consulting, compensation and rewards, recognition programs, culture keeper, employee engagement, coaching/development, talent management, conflict resolution, talent acquisition, data analysis, employee relations.
  • Ability to work within constraints as well as to challenge the status quo.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and being a part of deeply complex strategy discussions.
  • Knowledge of Singaporean market and labor laws
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & passionate about building well-functioning, high impact teams.
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Independent, strategic and organized work ethic.
  • Ideally, People & Talent experience in the FinTech space
  • Personal curiosity for cryptocurrencies/ blockchain/ ICOs
